Church

Our church community is the spiritual heart and hub of Levin Uniting. With a progressive, inclusive approach to the Christian faith, we celebrate that imperfections, questions, doubts and forgiveness are all part of the journey. If you choose to join us, you will be warmly welcomed whatever your age or background and whether you are a seasoned Christian or exploring Christianity for the first time.

Congregation worshipping together

Sunday Worship

Join us every Sunday at 10am for a service that uplifts and inspires. Our worship involves a blend of contemporary and traditional music, prayer, bible reading and a thought-provoking message, with holy communion offered on the first Sunday of each month. Music from our beautiful and historic pipe organ features prominently in this service. Following worship, we move to the Centre lounge where bonds of friendship and fellowship are formed over morning tea.

Glow Church

Beginning at 5pm on the 4th Sunday of each month, at Glow Church we use storytelling, craft and creativity to explore the Christian faith. This is a church service with a difference where everyone, whether two, ninety-two or any age between, learn and grow together in a warm, relaxed and open environment. The service begins with a light, finger-food tea and concludes at 6pm, enabling early nights for those preparing for the school or work week ahead or wanting to attend free our community meal.

Beyond Doubt Kōrero

Beyond Doubt Kōrero

Join us Tuesday evenings at 7pm if you are looking for a safe place where the faith-full, the faith-less and the faith-lost can together explore their questions and doubts about God, humanity and church in a non-judgmental and welcoming environment. Each meeting includes dessert, robust discussion and creative and ancient prayer practices as we seek a deeper understanding of, and connection with, God amidst faith and doubt.

Masonic Chapel Services

At 10am on the 4th Sunday of each month, Levin Uniting hosts a service of Holy Communion for the residents, family and friends of the Masonic Village and Rest Home at the Masonic Chapel. As with all our services, you are welcome, whatever your church background may be.

Avenues of Community and Connection

Levin Uniting Church offers a host of programes and events for people to meet one another and develop friendships old and new. To learn more about these, contact the Centre Office, or talk to our wonderful people when you attend one of our worship offerings described above.
